Parenting 180 is a program that is designed to "turn around" parenting as we currently know it.  Our schools and homes are plagued with concerns for our children that are related to how we parent.  Our children need and deserve to have parents who care for them and who have the skills, knowledge, and dispositions to rear them to become successful individuals.  Parenting 180 helps parents, teachers, churches, and community members to become the type of caregivers our children want and need.

     How can schools increase parental involvement that results in greater student achievement?  How can teachers and school administrators learn to interact differently with parents that would make parental involvement inviting to parents? This professional development is designed to help teachers and staff develop a plan to increase parental involvement in their school.

Parenting 180 - Parents

     Parents learn how to become better parents through a series of lessons on meeting the needs of their children.  Using effective p-words, parents are challenged to think and plan differently for the lives of their children.  Parents who are facing parenting challenges are encouraged to explore possible solutions for rearing their children to success.
